Teach Film Study

Film Study

Course Description

Students investigate how and what ideas, values and concepts are connected through film. In analyzing film, students will examine elements of plot, setting, style, and point-of-view. Class activities include viewing, listening, researching, and analyzing film. This course is recommended before taking a Video Production course. Some school districts have film policies which require parental permission before students can participate in classroom viewing of R-rated material. Select films that are appropriate for your classroom situation and needs.
