Film teachers across the globe
Thanks for your interest in this teaching film study site and for your interest in these resources. As of January 1st, 2014, I retired from 32 years as a classroom teacher to become the executive director for Think 360 Arts, a non-profit in Colorado that places artists in the classroom.
Since I have made this switch, it became imperative that the web site and resources listed here supported themselves, as a result I have added a small charge to each download. All downloads are saved in your purchase history, so if you lose the lecture you can always retrieve it again for free. I will continue to add films to the site for you to use in your classrooms.
Thanks for supporting Media Arts in our schools.
The information presented in this website behind the educator login is meant to be a resource for educators in starting and maintaining a Film Study, Video Production, or Literature to Film & Composition course in their school. In order to access the lectures and assignments, please take a few minutes to register. We will review your information and activate your account within one day.
Educators make each lecture and lesson your own, which should involve doing some research and discovery for yourself. Feel free to copy and use any of the information on this website, being sure to credit those responsible for the research and work they have contributed. Please do not republish these lectures for student access. Students of film will also find this site resourceful as they dig deeper into the films presented here.
If you would like to contribute a lesson or film lecture to the site, please email Dr. Jay Seller.
